This Flamengo duplex puts the living and dining rooms downstairs and its two bedrooms up a white staircase. Three beds are spread across them, and each of the two bathrooms comes with a hair dryer. Neighborhood highlights
Flamengo runs along one of the widest parks in the city, a green strip of football pitches, palm trees and paths that ends at the water. Sugarloaf sits straight ahead in the view, close enough to change color with the light. The buildings behind the park are tall and lived-in, with bakeries on the ground floors and a subway station within a few blocks. It is a working neighborhood rather than a beach one, and it stays busy in a calm, everyday way.
