This Matosinhos duplex keeps the open kitchen and living room on the lower floor and the bedrooms above. Two bedrooms hold three beds, and both bathrooms are full ones. The kitchen has an island, two pendant lamps, an oven, a stovetop and a washing machine in the cupboard beside it. Free parking comes with the unit and air conditioning runs on both floors. The beach is a ten-minute walk, and the fish market and the grill restaurants around it are even closer.

Neighborhood highlights
Matosinhos smells of charcoal and grilled fish from about noon onward, and nobody there apologizes for it. The fishing harbor supplies a street of restaurants where the menu is whatever came in that morning. Behind them lies a wide flat beach with a surf school on it and a working port at one end. The metro runs straight into the city center, so guests get the ocean without giving up the museums.
