This Ribeira apartment looks down over the Douro quays and the colorful houses along the water. The bedroom has a tall padded headboard and two beds, and the living room keeps a gray sofa, a wooden chair and a few houseplants. A full kitchen with an oven, a stovetop and a washing machine sits behind the living area, and the bathroom is a full one. A TV faces the sofa, and the Wi-Fi is fast enough for a work call. The riverside walk, the cellar boats and the funicular are all two minutes from the door.

Bright, spotless and quiet at night despite the location. The bed with the tall headboard was the comfiest of our trip.
Matilde's tips on port wine cellars across the bridge were perfect, and check-in was effortless with a lockbox and a friendly call.
Charming colorful houses all around, a great kitchen and a host who replies within minutes. We loved every moment.
Lovely apartment and a great base in Ribeira. The only thing we would change is the shower pressure, which is a little weak in the morning.
The host made this stay. Matilde sent a list of favorite places in Ribeira before we arrived and checked in once to make sure we were happy.
Porto, Portugal
The exact location is shared after your reservation is confirmed.
Ribeira stacks itself down to the river in layers of tile, granite and washing lines. The arcaded quay is the busiest strip in the city, full of buskers, terraces and boats waiting for passengers, with a double-deck iron bridge framing all of it. Behind the first row of houses the alleys turn very quiet and very steep within a few steps. Guests wake to gulls and to the low sound of the river traffic starting up.
