The sleeping area holds two beds behind dark wood panels, and the single bathroom is a full one. The kitchen has an oven, a stovetop, a coffee maker and a counter that seats two. Air conditioning is fitted under the eaves and your dog is welcome to come along. The footbridge, the canal path and a run of small restaurants all start right below the building.

Neighborhood highlights
The canal is the whole neighborhood: green water, iron footbridges and locks that still open for slow boats while pedestrians wait. On warm evenings both banks fill with people sitting on the stone edge with bread, cheese and a bottle. Behind them the streets hold small designers, secondhand shops and restaurants that turn their menus over weekly. It is a relaxed, young part of the city and it is at its best in the hour before dark.
