A tiled courtyard sits at the middle of this Coyoacan house, with a wide blue porch and white wicker chairs along one side. Three bedrooms hold five beds, and both bathrooms come with a hair dryer. The living room has a fireplace and a gray sofa, and the kitchen runs a long island with wooden stools, an oven, a stovetop and a washing machine in the back room. Free parking is inside the gate and a TV sits in the living room. The plaza, the weekend craft market and the painter house museum are all within a ten-minute walk.

Spotless and peaceful, ten minutes from the plaza and the Frida Kahlo museum. Ximena is a warm and generous host.
Four nights of coffee on the blue porch and quiet nights. The house felt like a home from the first minute.
Beautiful colonial neighborhood, excellent beds and a host who left tamales for our first breakfast. Perfect.
Good value house in a great part of Mexico City. The mattress is on the firm side, which suited one of us more than the other.
The host made this stay. Ximena sent a list of favorite places in Coyoacán before we arrived and checked in once to make sure we were happy.

The exact location is shared after your reservation is confirmed.
Coyoacán was a separate colonial town and still keeps its cobbles, its low painted walls and its two adjoining plazas. Weekends bring balloon sellers, marimba players and long lines outside the market for tostadas. The blue house where the painter lived is a few streets from the square, and the queue for it starts early. Weekday mornings, once the crowds have gone, are the reason to stay here rather than visit for an afternoon.
