This black Tamboerskloof house turns a glass wall toward the mountain and a slatted timber screen toward the street. Four bedrooms hold five beds, and the three bathrooms let a big group spread out easily. The living room has a fireplace and a tan feature wall, and the kitchen behind it holds an oven, a stovetop and a washing machine. Free parking is on the property and dogs are welcome on the mountain deck. The contour path, the city bowl viewpoints and the restaurants on the main road are all within a ten-minute walk.

Stylish and very clean, with a balcony behind slatted timber. The road up is steep, so a car helps.
Quiet, safe and close to Kloof Street's restaurants. Pieter greeted us and explained the alarm system clearly.
Comfortable and well located in Tamboerskloof. The Wi-Fi dropped a couple of times, which mattered because one of us was working.
Great location for a first visit to Cape Town — we walked to the main sights in the morning and were back in Tamboerskloof by two.
A very welcoming start to our week in Cape Town. Pieter answered a late-night message about the keys in under five minutes.

The exact location is shared after your reservation is confirmed.
Tamboerskloof is steep, residential and quiet, stacked up the slope between two peaks. Streets end in trailheads, so a walk up the smaller mountain can start straight from the front door before breakfast. Victorian cottages sit beside modern glass boxes, most of them looking out over the rooftops toward the harbor. There is little commerce beyond a corner store, and the restaurants of the neighborhood below are a five-minute walk downhill.
