A glass wall in this Sea Point apartment frames the sea from behind the tan sofa. Two bedrooms each hold one bed and there is one full bathroom. The kitchen has an oven, a stovetop, a coffee maker and a washing machine in the cupboard, and a TV faces the living room. The shared pool deck downstairs looks out over the water, and the Wi-Fi is fast enough to work from. The promenade, the tidal pool and a long row of restaurants are one block away.

Neighborhood highlights
Sea Point is one long promenade between apartment blocks and the cold Atlantic, and that promenade is the neighborhood living room. Runners, prams, skateboards and people simply standing at the rail share it from dawn until well after dark. A saltwater tidal pool at one end fills at high tide and is brave swimming in any season. Behind the seafront the main road runs for a mile with grocers, bakeries and restaurants open late.
